Melania Trump revealed on Thursday that although she stands behind women and the “Me Too” movement, she believes that sexual assault accusers must show “hard evidence.”

“I support the women,” Trump informed ABC News’s Tom Llamas, when pressed for her take on the outpour of Americans standing against sexual harassment. “They need to be heard. We need to support them. And also men, not just women.”

“We need to have really hard evidence that if you’re accused of something, show the evidence,” Trump added.

Melania Trump also claimed during the interview that she is one of the most bullied people in the world.

“I could say that I’m the most bullied person in the world,” Trump said.

“One of them — if you really see what people are saying about me,” she added, as she described her personal experience with bullying which led to her starting the “Be Best” campaign, which seeks to raise awareness about cyberbullying.

Despite facing scrutiny over her husband’s tweets, which are often used to target the president’s political foes and critics, the first lady detailed earlier this year that she is unaffected in her efforts to combat cyberbullying.

“I’m well aware that people are skeptical of me discussing this topic. I have been criticized by many for my commitment to tackling this issue, and I know that will continue,” she had explained back in March.

“But it will not stop me from doing what I know is right,” she continued. “I’m here with one goal: helping children in our next generation.”
